Micah Richards the pundit

Please can you remind me of his consistently poor games ? And then ask yourself was he playing CM and also how does his playing time compare to others that have or are having poor runs of form like Sterling and Mahrez.
I can't remember which games specifically because may of those turgid early season games blur into one now, but he was poor for several games before being dropped. To be honest he's not been brilliant all season apart from the odd flash. I'm not interested in comparing his game time with others because each player gets managed individually by Pep. Some respond to being allowed to play their way into form, some respond to a shock. Both Sterling and Mahrez have played their way into form this season. John Stones and Bernado, on the other hand, were repeatedly left out for many months. It's currently happening with Laporte too.

I know people love an Academy player in the team but that doesn't give him a free pass into the team. I'm very happy with the way Pep has managed him for the last two years and I hope that yesterday's performance is the start of him getting back to his best. He'll play on Wednesday of course.

The point is i think it would be hard to argue that he has not been one of our better players this season, and not one of our poorer players as your initial post infered. Anyway, I think criticising Micah for expressing an opinion is a bit silly, just because you happen to not agree with it. He isnt there to be Peps mouthpiece he is there to give his opinion is he not?
Over and over and over again when sky decide every week to insinuate phil is mad with playing time and want to leave , it is a regular script and he plays along every time , he was very disrepectful to pep , it is time he went against that script if he is really speaking for us

If you mean what I think you mean, Kaz, then Foden handles the interviews well. He's media trained and just gives bland answers. The minute he starts an argument with an interviewer or contradicts the manager or in general expresses any emotion, you've got a live negative headline waiting to explode.

Im sorry but I don't agree with you that Mahrez has played his way into form, hes had a couple of good matches one against Burnley, then he became next to useless again. Sterling cant hit a barn door at present, hes been frankly dreadful in front of goal. I would proffer that neither has been as consistent as Phil and both have had considerably more minutes.

He's only just starting out - someone has seen something there to work with.
Let's be honest we don't have a large pool of ex-City players to pick from for pundits. I'm just glad we've finally got one out there
I agree mate and I really hope that Nedum Onuoha gets more exposure on the likes of BBC, SKY etc. as I think he could be an excellent pundit.

Hes not being disrespectful to Pep, hes a pundit offering his opinion. An opinion shared by many fans on here. Just because you and others don't agree with it doesn't mean its not valid Kaz.

Well we have to disagree, then. In my opinion you are partly right but only partly: I'd say that Mahrez, Streling and Foden have all been patchy (at best) all season. Certainly overall I don't believe Foden has outperformed either.

I'm happy with the way Pep manages all the players and I trust in his vision of the bigger picture.

Foden is being managed brilliantly by Pep and City, that’s my opinion, these days nobody plays every game unless they are pumped full of ventolin like the dippers last season ...
I don’t mind Micah giving his opinion at all, that’s what he’s there for, however, as far as Foden is concerned, he’s 100% wrong ...!
