Micah Richards the pundit

Micah has chosen media which I am never going to blame him for. He needs to earn a living and I wish him all the best. He was a servant whilst he was with us but he should not be an ambassador.

And a paid ambassador by the club its fucking embarrassing , we should rip up that contract immediately
 
I don’t usually catch the adverts but I saw him dancing round like a proper clown in one yesterday. What is it about rich people that means they’ll do absolutely anything to get more money? Does having more money than you’ll ever spend change your mental state?
 
The generation that like queuing for cup-cakes and taking photos of themselves doing so, seem to forgive and ignore what the overweight imbecile says and does - because he's making money. Thus what we are up against.
 
Any evidence that he is a club ambassador and even more so he gets paid for it? Not see him on any club media for a long time

Richards retired from football in 2019 and now works with Manchester City as a club representative. He is passionate about the work of Cityzens Giving around the world.

A "representative" then?
A search on the OS shows 3 results articles in the last 5 years, one wishing him happy birthday, one about Walker being greatest ever RB and the other about Adeybaour's celebration v Arsenal

Think its a stretch to say he works for the club at any level and even more so gets paid for it IMHO as soon as he became popular with the MSM he ditched City

He has it in his Bio on his twitter account that he's an ambassador for us.

What that actually means, Who knows.

The clue is the part where it says he "Works" with Manchester City and that link is on the website right now.

He is working with City under some capacity but it doesn't explain exactly what capacity that is, hence the confusion.
 
How this clown gets a paid gig on the biggest stage is beyond me, can't articulate an opinion, and tbh I'm not even convinced he has one

Interviewing Hakimi last night, and he says that he must be in the top 2 right backs in the world at the moment, so Hakimi asks him who his top 2 is, and Micah just bursts out laughing and says he's stumped on the other one

Then goes on to mumble 'I like Trent'

Really is a buffoon who I don't think has the faintest clue about football in its purest form; just an above average footballer that managed to win a couple of trophies, who happens to have a ridiculous laugh that was made for modern day TV

Every word from his mouth is a footballing cliche, he speaks in soundbites without thinking about what he's saying.

That "top 2" example sums him up perfectly.

He's enjoying himself and earning big money, and it would appear that he doesn't give a fuck about anything other than that. Being held in high regard, being respected, and being professional admired doesn't fill his bank account. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

I much prefer to hear Nedum talk football, but I think I'm in the minority in this country's population in that regard.
