Regardless of whether you agree with him, what he says, or how he behaves, he's an inoffensive guy just trying to earn a living, playing a role in the media.

Much like any young Blue who breaks through, we sometimes have romanticized memories of who they were. He was an uncouth, no brain, battering ram, who was quickly surplus to requirements once we acquired a real RB in Zabba.

That's even worse; switching sides. Like his mate Carragher, who was an Everton fan as a kid. Just how do you do that? There were plenty of times in the late 80s and through the 90s when switching sides could have been tempting. But you just don't do it.
