Micah Richards the pundit

That's even worse; switching sides. Like his mate Carragher, who was an Everton fan as a kid. Just how do you do that? There were plenty of times in the late 80s and through the 90s when switching sides could have been tempting. But you just don't do it. You pick your team as a snotty little brat, and you stick with them.
100% agree

He said last week on CBS that he wanted to put things straight as City fans were giving him grief…
He said, “as a child growing up he was indeed an Arsenal fan, but he became and still is now, a City fan”
“City fans were giving him grief”???

Wonder why? City win, all grins. City lose, hides because he’s got nothing!

He’s a pathetic muscle bound man-child who got too much, too young, got away with murder because everything’s a laugh, and is now trying to translate that into an extremely cushy living!

Sadly, for all of us, it’s working and it is only encouraging him, to the point that Carragher is also trying the same pathetic schtick and not pulling it off, making the show even worse!

The latest BS is a competition to see who can get a “player interview, to order!” They say who they want the person at the game to interview. If they get them, they get plaudits, but then the studio ask them absolutely inane questions, like when Richards shouted “who do you like best?” and “how do your players feel about Carra?!” to Arne Slot? The only good thing was Slot appears to have a good sense of humor because he said, “as a player or a pundit?” That was funny, but you’d have thought Richards had just heard the worlds best joke and his laugh had been activated on “Setting 11”

Absolute cringe TV!

Peaked when he dropped the F-Bomb in his post match interview after he equalised against Villa in the FA Cup. He's been an absolute knob ever since.
That's totally unfair and not correct.

He was a knob long before that interview.

I remember a few seasons ago he said he would rather Arsenal win the league than City.
He’s criticised the fans before, complaining that some fans wrote to the club asking for action.

He’s a prick. Not fit to lace Zabas boots and he’s not one of us.

In my view he pretends to be a city fan as it helps him and sky as they have enough Arsenal pundits.
How I’d much rather Nedum or Joe taking his place as the city pundit on sky.

Also, for whoever had been giving him grief, keep up the good work.

Glad I only see odd ‘reels’ of it. I don’t get what they’re trying to do, Kate Scott is just as culpable.

Joe is doing a great job.

I saw a clip of him saying when asked who he supported "When I'm on air it's Man City, off air Arsenal"

He's pretty much a parody of himself at this point. When he's on pundit duty, the telly goes off until two minutes before kick off. Same goes for catflap, as well as the obvious spitty.

They try to make it a collection of analysis, banter, laughs, interviews and “insider jokes” for a global audience (it’s coming to England next season, I believe, as it’s based in the UK), but mainly the American social media crowd! The show is chopped and packaged for social media almost immediately after the games, sometimes before they’re even finished if the think they have a viral moment!

I try hard not to watch or listen to any of it as I’ve already seen more than enough.
