Zabaleta > Boyata > Richards, for the rest of the season!

Ridiculous post

What is ridiculous about saying a player who we can get on the pitch regularly should play over a player who is constantly injured and can't be bothered to track back when he gets his chance?

So you already know that Micah is going to be injured for the rest of the season do you? And that you'd rather play a centreback at right back instead of him.

In fairness everybody knows Micah will miss more games this season through injury, he missed West Ham away because he had a stiff leg from the last game he played and Boyata stepped in and played brilliantly! Its not Micahs fault though obviously! But then to play like he did today when given the chance with the experience he has is not acceptable.

I dont know what is going to happen in the future, i hope Micah stays fit as he will be needed in the run in and i would rather have him at right back over Boyata everytime.

The constant injuries are really holding Micah back. Also since Zabba is so good Micah can't get a run of games. I think Pellegrini made a mistake earlier in the season in not playing Micah at CB when he was fit and VK injured. Instead he played Javi Garcia. A final point is we are fighting for 4 trophies for the first time in our history. It would I am sure be helpful to the team for the fans to look for positivity instead of negativity. Every player in the squad needs our support

He carn't jump any more his arse is fatter than Dunny's.
No time for sentiment, just because he came through our system.
Time to be truthful, he will never be what we once thought he might be.
Seriously I would love to be proved wrong, no Mica hater.

Based on today, I would say he will not be playing many move games for us.

If we can get him fully fit he will no doubt tussle with Zaba but these injuries are getting the better of him. Fingers crossed its not the end!

I agree that Micah's sluggishness is down to his lack of games. He's currently in a vicious circle, he needs games to get back to full fitness, however due to lack of fitness he keeps getting slight injuries and this puts back his fitness each time. We can't give him too many minutes because each game is so important, if we were 10 points clear then it wouldn't be a problem.

The club really have to help him get fit, he could be an important player for us and if he doesn't quite make it then we need him fit if we were to sell him. He's still young enough to recover and the same goes for Rodwell.

Rodders, Jovetic and Micah are all going to be needed over the next 4 months, the longer we are in the CL and FA cup the more they will be needed. They are all fragile but whilst they are at the club they will get my full support, they all add something to the squad. Like you say fingers crossed we can get everyone fully fit and ready to play.

Looking at the coming fixtures, Zabaleta will almost certainly start six of the next eight, so it's going to be harder for Richards to get more game time. Ideally he'll be available and up to speed for the games against Sunderland and Stoke at the Etihad.
