People will focus on stuff like running straight into trouble and hitting the deck.
Which i would probably join in with if he was fully fit and had integrated into the new look squad over a few months and doing that.
Ok he has seen and been around the training and tactics but not really had a crack himself and that can take time to adapt to.
I think he did ok tonight, BUT the injuries are no good.
I won't even say it i like him that much but if this season continues for him like this he maybe should consider his options.

Clearly taken off as he was never going to last 90 in a comeback game. Did OK for me was obviously not up to full speed but that only to be expected. Jogged off looking tired and not injured. Needs a run of games without picking up another injury as always. Thought he linked OK with Navas who was MOM for me so anyone suggesting he messed up Jesus's game watched a different game to me. If he's fit he rotates with Pab Zab in the more minor games. (Not many of those left once 4th round of the FA Cup is played). But gives us options to rest Zabba which is the most important.
He looked very out of it and wasn't able to create any space for Navas on the right in the first half because he hardly entered the final third and when he did his runs were mistimed.skybluepete said:baildon blue said:If true another injury to Richards . I think MP shud have taken him off after an hour max, let the lad take it one step at a time.
I personally dont think he did too bad, wasnt the best player on show but he wasnt shite like some on here are trying to make out,he just looked a bit leggy after an hour or so which i think is understandable.
Why did he make navas look poor tonight ?? I think iv read a comment stating this?
The other week it was lescott making boyata look bad - SCAPEGOATS comes to mind for lescott and Micah if you ask me.
Really hope he's not injured tho.

Just think about why he hasn't signed a new contract

But the whole team was struggling slightly in the first half wouldn't you aggree? Why single out Micah?
Do you not think it was right for him not too bomb on too much tonight in his comeback game - i think Micah has tried to do too much in past games wen he's comeback and suffered for it.
Im happy for him to ease his way back little by little, its the correct way.
Micah needs games in this team so he can gel into the system properley, i mean how many times as he played with navas-competitive games, not many- give him a break - he didn't hinder navas tonight lad your being a bit picky !!

Just got back and is a fan fav, so anything he did was magnified i think Pete.
That and the fact he is not 100% and in sync with the rest of his team mates due to his injury amalgamate in some peoples head that he had a shit game.
Personally think he is a tank against non top 5-6 opposition but above that he can get caught out positionally the odd time, not often but more than Zabba.

Can only recall one game this season where I've thought "that's the old Micah" (couldn't name it now though)
