Respect your opinion but I think you couldn't be more wrong. Nothing against Micah but Zabs is or at least has been the better player by far over the last two seasons.

Zab has improved no end since arriving here and playing in midfield, I love the guy to bits, but for me Micah is the better player but its all about opinions!johnmc said:forevermancity said:I know people love zab...but when Micah is fit he is the better player and better option for us

Respect your opinion but I think you couldn't be more wrong. Nothing against Micah but Zabs is or at least has been the better player by far over the last two seasons.
This year Micah has got to make the position his own, injuries have cost him the past few seasons.
No matter your opinion on who is better, we have certainly got that position sorted for the next few years

maybe because Micah was oft-injured over this time? when he is fit he is an absolute force, that tosser Evra can relate to it. not to take anything away from Zab, he is a soldier and one of the best himself; but Richards is usually next to unplayable when on his game. we should thank heavens that both gentlemen play at our club, don't think any other side in the world has this kind of depth at RB.

There's not much to choose between them other than to say that Micah's position is right back and nowhere else, he's only okay at centre back* and not the world beater that we need him to be.
If they are both on the pitch Micah should always go to RB and Zabba slots in wherever the cover is needed, particularly left back or defensive midfield.
* This is why he's not selected for England. It's okay for Baines or Cole to just concentrate on left back 'cos they are small, but they expect Richards to be some kind of super hero RB/defender/DM, which he's not.

Terrific tonight, you showed 'em Micah!
Micah vs Zabs is a hard one for me, Both are excellent, both love the club and both deserve to start. The fact Micah is English and I'd love for him to get into the world cup squad makes me hope he has a stormer of a season (though knowing England that means nothing)
