Micah Richards

It’s incredible how many players think that bulking-up will make them better footballers, whereas the direct opposite is actually the case. Lukaku being a further case in point. Effective strength in football doesn’t come from bulk, but rather guile and precision of force.

I remember when he played at CB with Dunne in the 2007 home Derby and he had Tevez & co in his pocket the whole game.
Crazy to thick he is still only 30 yet has hardly played a competitive games for years!

They were both brilliant in the swamp derby too.

Hardly anything got past them and they were two of the main reasons we did the double that season.

Quality player for us. Mancini never really gave him a chance to get match fit again by playing games after his injury at City, which is a shame. Some managers have the attitude that it's the player's job to get to that level by working hard on the training ground before they get in the team but that's a lot easier said than done for certain players (Aguero, Yaya, Micah etc.).

Micah letting himself down and should be at his peak now, sadly nothing can be done to turn it around ?? and when your hunger goes and can't no longer be bothered then why should anybody else give him a chance
