Since Corluka left i haven't seen him have a great game for Spurs, nor have i heard a single comment from anyone about him.
I'm happy we've got Micah out of the two, we just need to get him to reach his potential.
Harry wanted Micah this summer, that should say quite a bit when he already had Corluka.

Im not doubting you love him but there always seems to be one player everyone is willing to hate/ knock/ call/ boo - i had it against liverpool where the person behind me in the south stand (never seen him there before and the tickets been mine since we moved and wasnt there last game) made some stupid remark slagging him off when hart threw the ball to him, it fell short and landed at the feet of one of their players.
You only need one to start this off and the sheep follow.
All players make mistakes from time to time and he isnt any different, it doesnt matter how much money their on either but id love to see the day when i go to watch us and not one person slags off any one player - after all it really is counter productive.

Getting better in what sense? Maintaining consistency at having severe 'lapses in concentration' which will cost us important points? Completely agree.
It's not about making people scapegoats. It's about raising issues about players, good and bad when necessary. I would argue Tevez has been no better than Richards this season so far. So I certainly don't buy into the fashion of 'slagging off particular players at particular times'. However, the loyalists (I refer to those who cant say anything relatively critical about City for fear it will undermine their very existence and logic of allegiance and who back Richards merely because he was a local youth team player) need to argue the case, that he is good enough to play at the top level (CL football which we hope to obtain). He isnt. And never will be. The Sunderland example, is not making him a scapegoat. It's a case of, 'oh yea, Richards is playing today'
