micah v corluka.

Micha, we all know he has his faults but he's young and one of our own.

I always liked Corluka when he were at City but i don't think he is that far ahead of Micha to the point of "winning" or "losing" a game for us, as other posters have said Boateng looks like the player we thought both could be for us.

Richards.

Corluka is way to slow

but Micah really needs to remember how to play football again...not the hurdles

Iv seen micah on his day as good as any fullback in the world.

But mancini is working with his defensive abilities and that will only improve him to no end.

Micah- just.

To be honest I was never a big fan of Charlie. Was a bit confused when I heard and read people talk about his class and composure on the ball, when all I saw was a big, slow, dopey bugger.

Still- what do I know?!

its amazing that all of our recent managers like micah, keegan, pearce, sven, hughes and now mancini have all kept him in or around the 1st 11.

doesnt that say something then or are they all wrong?

Neither are great.

Corluka far more composed, classy and intelligent. Richards more powerful, better in the air.

Hoping Boateng will prove to be much better than both

What kind of stupid point is this? How many other quality players did they drop at right back in favour of Richards? Come on, context people! I don't think anyone would argue, years ago in relegation / lower-mid table squads that Richards was more than capable of playing in City's first team. However, the current state of play is very different to the Keegan/Pearce/Sven era.
