Does anyone actually appreciate what a shining light and great player this guy was, and what a shame it is how things are now. Why call him a knob etc..?

Because any one of us would have killed for that talent, or for our kids to have it. He had it and pissed it away yet every month or so a 'Johnson' thread appears. Well fuck him, he's a wasted talent.

You obviously know more than me as i assumed the injuries didnt help. I for one thought he was a great player and Im saddened by how he is now.

If you get a long term injury its hard to predict how things work out. Obviously by your standards he has let everyone down and is a disgrace to mankind.

Lots of players get long term injuries. Its about how you commit yourself to coming back. Sometimes the injury is too bad. In his case his attitude has been too bad.

Correct but how exactly do you know how bad the injury is, what support he has had etc. etc.

I really think people should stop trying to defend him and stop trying to justify what he has done. He could've been a City legend but instead has ruined his career. What a waste.

If Sven is still in his job then Thailand could be a good shout.

Sven just signed a contract with BEC Tero (Thai club) for 1 year, and I doubt he will last longer than that.
