Michael Olise | Bayern Munich Player

Yup! He's the wish of many a City fan. I just wish we'd opt for him now, because if he has a stellar season, Leverkusen will be looking at £100m+, instead of the rumoured £40m-£50m being bandied about at the moment...
We should even sign him now and loan him back if it means us getting him

I'd be surprised if he goes for as little as £50 million. But if you can get him for something in that region, you've got yourselves a crazy steal. I always assumed he'd end up at Bayern the way they hoover up Bundesliga talent.

Agreed 100%! It's what I suggested a few weeks back when Bellingham went to Real & we weren't expecting Kev back from his hammy until October/November.

I'd even buy now & allow Lever to have him for two seasons. By then Kev will probably be physically knackered & ready for the retirement home at the CFA.

Wirtz is a special talent, & City must have their reasons for not making a preemptive move for him now, seeing as the German Rags have moved into the £100m player market... \0/

He's coming off the back of a very bad injury which scared a lot of people off.

It took him a while to get up to speed last season, so only really started to perform to his potential around Springtime.

There's fears he could be another Havertz or Werner. We gotta be careful innit?

Read an article on the athletic that contrary to what most people think, Chelsea believe that it would actually be easier to shift on such players as they’re on long but low-wage contracts.
Why would anyone sign a longer than usual contract on lower than usual wages? Unless it's got automatic increases based on appearances, honours etc, I'd expect the salaries to look high currently to make up for not getting the extensions that would be usual.

Chelsea's new team coach.
