Michael Olise | Bayern Munich Player

I didn't realise that Olise had spent time at City when 14/15 (according to Wikipedia).
I thought that, as a London boy, he might find it difficult to settle in Manchester - think Zaha at United - but I guess he would know what he would be coming to.
Might be worth a punt.

What's the chance Olise will go to your club?

No idea honestly. If we’re bidding against City then we have nothing to offer that trumps getting to work with Pep every day and walking into a winning culture.

Or he will be another Rice, too comfortable living in London and doesn't want a hassle of moving out.

Feels like both us and Chelsea are not going to go for him yet until we know how bad that injury is.

You make Kaveh sound credible. Been on here 5 minutes, with post after post emphasising how you’re “being told” this and “hearing” the other. Give it a fucking rest
Woahhhh calm down Exeter blue, no need, if you dont appreciate the info don't read or move onto the next post, angry man

“He’s heard we’ve no interest in Olise”. That’s dead fucking easy - 2’we almost certainly haven’t, and in the off chance that we end up so doing it will be “a late change of plan”

He's crap ... don't bother.

I mean in reality I really hope we can keep him for another season, by far the most naturally talented player I've seen play for Palace. Never thought anyone would ever beat Lombardo, who we had in his 30's in the late 90's, but Olise on his game is pretty much unstoppable, and with the right coaching I fully believe he could become a world class winger. At the moment he is a little all or nothing, either absolutely brilliant or doesn't seem to feature much, but the attributes are all there. I genuinely think his development would be best served with another year with us, more consistent performances, hopefully a few more goals, but obviously understand a talent like his is going to move on sooner rather than later, and Man City under Pep seems a far better place for him to develop than the basket case that is Chelsea.

Do you think he’s better than Eze?

In possession, he has amazing vision, can put a ball practically anywhere he wants. Un-selfish in terms of getting into advanced positions and playing teammates in on goal. Dead ball specialist at free kicks and corners. He's the dictionary definition of a show boater.

Out of possession, he is defensively not great. Doesn't really like getting stuck into challenges, often out of position, with opposition attacks or goals coming down his side of the pitch. Pressing for 90 mins, or hunting the ball down/tracking back the runs of the opposition full backs/wingers is not really part of his game. He'll wait for the ball, instead of going to win it back himself. He has the raw ingredients, but there's still quite a lot to his game that needs work.

The biggest challenge would be his ability to adapt.
