Michael Oliver to ref Liverpool v City - City lodge complaint

Not sure of that, I think the PL will benefit greatly if one of the two biggest clubs won it - it's been several years without it now, and it might be hurting their metrics.

I would say that it is possible that Liverpool are not directly involved in any potential corruption, but are merely benefitting from. It would be crazy to risk having their fingerprints on Riley when they don't need to, and when the PL is the commercial organisation that need the boost.

Nail on head

Ref didnt give us much, but come on Liverpool scored good goals, and we had loads of great attacking sitations and frittered them away.

Did you see how clinical Liverpool were when they broke on us. Perfect play. City need to up our game. This is the good thing about having an opponent as good as Liverpool. City will need to respond.

Sterling is getting better. Bernardo had a good game. Angelino played very well against a very good side. We have Laporte and Sane close to come backs. We've just gone to Liverpool and played a good game and been a but unlucky to get beaten so I am pretty confident we will recover soon enough
Is your new approach to just rile us by saying outlandish things?

Good post but have to disagree on this.

They would be ecstatic if a Liverpool won it for 10 years on the trot, same with Utd.

Its us they dont want dominating.

No I agree with that, because the 'plastic' fan base for both those clubs for outweighs any club in the UK, thus it would only be seen as a positive to the powers that be

I think Pep should have come out and said 'this is the same referee that incorrectly missed a pen against Spurs and now twice again against another top 4 opposition'.
He would have been hit with a ban for speaking the truth but maybe in the long run we would have benefited from him highlighting it to the media.

You can add that when he was on VAR the other week for our game ignored a stonewall penalty
