We should always remember that football at the top generally did not want our owner funding competition to their cartel.
They are the ones who employ the likes of Mr Riley who will loyally carry out their directions.
O'LiverPool has a job to do via Riley. Do not expect fairness from him, it does not suit the resentment of his employers to our success.
We have beaten them financially with a business plan that works and simply have proved that their worst fears on the field of play have materialised.

One of their ways to stop us is via officialdom.
Imagine O'LiverPools career prospects if he actually was fair. He has a career to consider so upsetting Pool at Arnfield may be step too far.
He was just thinking of his family and providing for them so please look at it from his point of view.

Our complaint about his conduct as a referee will be seen as a compliment to Mr Riley and he will patiently listen to our opinions and politely say he will look into it.

May I suggest we help matters by actually getting our own players to shoot accurately then this referee bias will be put into the shadows. We can do zero about the refs, lets concentrate on scoring goals.

Once our players have fastening in to shooting accurately there are numerous reasons for VAR to find something untoward with the goal.

That is just typical of the twats in charge of officiating our game.

Have they not listened to the howls of derision from up and down the country at just how wank VAR is, the only thing it appears to be used for is offsides and even then nobody believes them. How does he explain away the lack of a VAR review on the Salah goal and the game just continuing as if nothing had happened?

I know numerous people who are seriously considering giving up going over this abortion of a system, and what is the use of having pitch side monitors if they are not going to be used?

I think the way football is currently governed and arbitrated will drive away a lot more fans than the hooliganism of the seventies ever did.

Oh well, not getting any penalty then and he'll be in our passing lines all the time. Remember, he is the guy who called a foul against Bernardo when Rose battered him.

Even the refs don’t understand the laws of the game.

For it to be hand ball by Bernardo he would have to have controlled the ball after it hit his arm and then set up a goal scoring chance for a teammate or shot himself.

He didn’t do any of that so it’s not hand ball by Bernardo.

It has in the past.

We’ve had a few refs stopped from refereeing our games over the years after complaining about ineptness or accusing them of bias.

As Oliver is a Newcastle fan and can't referee games in the North East, you would expect this complaint from City to mean automatic demotion to the Championship (if Newcastle stay up). Far too much baggage to referee many PL games with everything on the table.

Personally, i don't think he's biased but merely incompetent.

Personally I think he gets a memo before our games with instructions.
He used to ref like he did on Sunday whenever he did utd games under taggart.
When you think of the one sided way he refs it sticks out like a sore thumb.
He looks like he can be bullied quite easily and mike Riley has the **** by the balls, if he's got any that is.

It was a meaningless statement. If a ball hits the arm and handball isn't given, logically the only reason is that it hasn't met the threshhold to be handball!

The threshold for the award of a penalty depends not on whether the ball was played with a hand or arm, not if someone was pushed, tripped, held or kicked, but what colour shirt they are wearing. It was one of the old chestnuts re a team losing. Fergie often reported at the end of a game MANUre had lost that 'The referee ne'er gave us owt'! Well, Pep and we fans can't say the refs don't give us owt - we get all the shit anyone would ever want!
