Some ministers and civil servants will be shitting bricks right now. All we have to do is remove their rights to a pension after being found dodgy and it would be more satisfying.

That Tory woman Laura Trott in Parliament gave the game away when she tried to defend the wasted £16 billion on PPE and fraud.

Her argument was that they had to move quickly and by-pass the normal quotes and rules… in other words they found an excuse to get around the normal constraints to make sure their spiv mates could get the cash instead of established suppliers.

What the fuck is a VIP lane anyway when it comes to procurement? If it had been to give priority to companies with an established track record in that industry then it wouldn’t be called that. VIPs are presumably people important to the Tory hierarchy.

If no one goes to jail over this then or Grenfell then we are a failed country, with an unaccountable system of Government.

Yeah.
I saw a recent clip of a pair of American tourists who got lost in cartel county in Mexico (presume genuine).
Once the cartel realised they weren't a threat they calmed the guys down with what seemed like authentic compassion. An empathy much of our UK governing crew lack in spades.
