I like McCarthy. He played for City and is makinmg his way as a Manager. Give the guy a break.

His team played well today with the resources they have compared to ours. I hope they stay up.

Having saw the interview again I might have been a bit hasty but to call me a Johnny come lately is bang out of order. I've had a season ticket for 25 years so jog on tosser.
 
just got back and i saw mick mcarthy in a hotel [ the 1 opposite granada studios] where i went for a meal, and he had a few photos with a couple of people and then i said a few words to him, then his wife came and he went out

Nothing against Mick, good servant at city during his playing days, doesn't mince his words and he is trying to save his own skin.
 
Was talking with a few lads that we sit with at the match. Concesus was although hes an ex player and did well for us, hes a miserable annoying twat and he irritates the shit out of us.

In the words of Robbie Savage you wouldnt want to have a pint with him.

I remember that Derby, i'm sure it was the first drive through Mcdonalds or somert, in Fallowfield i think. It went off in town thats for sure. Great header and was heart on the sleeve for us.

I can't watch him on tv and have to look away as it really bugs me. I really want to break his nose - not in a nasty way if you know what I mean - and put it straight!
I quite like his match commentary - he says what he sees and throws in a few witty comments too.
 
I like him too, and you can tell the players like him. He's the kind of manager you want to play for and they clearly give their all on the pitch. I admire Wolves actually. They went right after us and looked good for the draw at least early on I must say
 
McCarthy's okay and he still carries a bit of a torch for the club. He did some punditry on a derby game a few years ago and he was firmly in our corner. Said he had a soft spot going back to his playing days.
