Mick McCarthy

Always liked Mick. His commentary for the bbc is very entertaining...I have to say though,he went down in my estimation when he fielded a reserve team at the swamp a couple of years ago in the league.

Disagree with you there. He said at the time his aim was to remain in the PL. Wolves lost at the Swamp but won the following game. Those 3 points were more vital than the League Cup.

Always liked him as a City player and as a manager at Millwall / ROI / Sunderland / Wolves.
Good luck at Ipswich Mick.

always suprised me Wolves got rid of Mick. Surely if they went down under him there would be no better man to bring them back up again.

Seems like a decent enough bloke but a Championship manager at best. Good at getting tea,s into the Premiership but struggles when there.

Good to see he's given Terry Connor a role too.

Hope he does well there. Always had a bit of a soft spot for Ipswich.

I like Mick, but Ipswich can go and fuck themselves. A lot of us remember them making a big issue about relegating us (remember the ''weakest link'' banner?). Fuck them.

He played for city.

His post match interviews are funny.

He hates Roy Keane.

Top man -all the best.

Remember how he praised Berkovic's volleyed goal from a corner when we beat Ipswich 4-1 in the FA Cup when Motson was still complaining it shouldn't have been a corner in the first place.
