My position around the violence and Israeli attacks is it needs to stop and it needs to stop now.
Neither you or I or our opinions count for very much, I do not expect that either the Israeli's or Hamas give a flying fuck about what I wrote or what you write on a football forum.
Maybe my posts which are solely focused on stopping the killings (on both sides) are too optimistic for you and that is fair enough, but for me, for there to be any chance of ending this bloodshed, the first step to stop the Israeli's doing what they're doing.
If Hamas release the hostages then global pressure can be brought upon Israel to stop. If Hamas choose not to, which is their right, then there will be inevitable consequences. Yes you can shout innocent people are getting killed - we all know that and that is barbaric and wrong.
You're all right. I cannot, unlike many on here profess, to be an expert on the historic dispute between the Palestinians and Jews. It goes too far back in History for me. All I want to see is a stop to the killings today but sadly, for as long as Hamas hold on to the hostages, something they are doing so knowing that the killings will continue. I get the fact that there is no absolute guarantee they will stop if the hostages are released but they will continue and increase if the are not.
By all means hurl insults and call names from your positions of superior knowledge and wisdom (I can take it - honest) but rather than maligning me.... what are your propositions to try and stop the killings that are happening today?
