Saudi Arabia and other Muslim countries called on Saturday for an immediate end to military operations in Gaza, rejecting Israel's justification of its actions against Palestinians as self-defence.

That the same Arab League who agreed not to give citizenship to Palestinian refugees? Fucking hypocrites.

I'm not sure anyone likes it - it's horrible to see. I looked at my two little granddaughters last week and thought what it must be like for kids like them in Gaza. Or the ones in Israel who are held hostage or whose parents were massacred on October 7th which none of you seem equally bothered about. But why do you think they're doing it?

Hamas, supposedly the representatives and government of the people of Gaza, have hidden among those people. They've spent probably over £1bn on building tunnels under mosques, hospital, schools etc., rather than spending it on things that would benefit the whole population and seeking a peaceful settlement. They knew what would happen, but I'm not sure they counted on the ferocity of the response.

They talk about martyrdom but hide in tunnels and are happy to let innocents get killed. They're fucking murderous scum and sometimes you need to take sides, even if it's not a particularly wholesome choice.

It's got to be a lot more difficult for you when this is going on mate, if other people can't see the rise of anti-Semitism then they are blind or wilfully ignorant.

Labour Party member, pretty much sums them up. One of their MP’s was at the front of the march yesterday with a known Hamas supporter. It honestly boggles my mind how anyone can be in bed with those terrorists.

And no, I’m not a Tory. Most politicians are bellends.

My great-grandparents came here from Eastern Europe and my grandparents were born as British citizens. They had no desire to go back to Eastern Europe, where they'd been terribly persecuted. Three generations on, I don't consider myself a Russian refugee and pine for the home country of my great-grandparents.

Israel gave all the hundreds of thousands of Jews who fled there from Arab and North African countries citizenship. I doubt many harbour any desire to go back. America gave citizenship to those fleeing poverty, famine and persecution. We give citizenship to refugees from places all over the world. There was a huge movement of refugees when India was partitioned in 1947 yet none of those are in refugee camps bemoaning their fate. Movement of people has happened for thousands of years and those people settled where they ended up.

I'm proud of the fact that when I'm walking around Manchester I can see people of many different nationalities who live and feel safe here. No one goes on marches in support of Kurds, Afghans, Rohingya, Uighurs, or the other displaced or persecuted people. Yet the Palestinians have been cynically used as pawns by the Arab world and people fall for it. Why are they a special case?

I'm sorry to pick on you as I know you and also know you're a decent person who genuinely feels horrified by what you see.

But I'm not sure some on here do think that Kaz. Or at least that don't don't think Hamas are bigger cunts than the Israelis.
