I am not scholarly enough to know this but surely no god in any religion would advocate the destruction or ethic cleansing of another group for the benefit of his own people. Especially if they were in a sizeable minority?? I'm really at a loss here. I'd say the same about hindutva in India or Tue Catholic church in the Americas. I think you have to be very choosy about where you pick your news sources from Haaratz, Al Qasira, Sky, BBC, Guardian are all quite reliable in my experience
