Middle East Conflict | Netanyahu orders strikes on Gaza (p1161)

I'm not justifying any massacre.

You,on the other hand, with your specious reasoning, come across as doing exactly that.
What.... thinking the return of the hostages would possibly bring pressure onto the Israeli's to stop attacking Palestinians? Whilst knowing, having been told in no uncertain terms no return of hostages means hostilities will escalate.

Can I ask, did you support what the Palestinians did on 7th October?

Errr what does "I'm not justifying any massacre" suggest to you?

Don't bother replying.
We're done here.

.... I will respond, can you answer these questions honestly?

Do you think the Hamas hostages should have been taken on 7th October?

Should the hostages be released by Hamas?

I could anticipate your answer but I won't.

Israel has just bombed the airport at Sana in Yemen. Yemen is blockaded and the airport is of no use anyway. Yemen hit Ben Gurion airport the other day. Israel has made a huge mistake as you can see their airports now being heavily targeted by Yemeni drones

I dont agree one bit about the genocide but why fall out like hell with people on a forum. I`ll gladly keep any further thoughts to myself on the subject.
Religion and politics causes nothing but stress levels for some people and brings the worst out of some of them.
You've just fallen out with those who don't think it's genocide.

Of course you're going to fall out with people on different sides in a war. Listening to both sides is a virtue. Fence-sitting may be a vice.

Thanks for the advice Vic.

Unlike many on here I cannot claim to be an expert on every subject, but feel a forum is the place to offer an opinion safe in the knowledge that my views are not going to inform the policies and strategic thinking of either Hamas or Netanyahu... thank god for that eh?

But sincerely, thank you for your concern and advice.
You're welcome. Even better if you take the advice.

BBC suggesting that Israel is going to try and force 2 million Gazans into a small area in the south. They didn't say it would mean concentrating them into a camp.
"Aid camps" I've seen them described as...

The Financial Times is calling out the israeli bullshit:

"Israel has been unclear about how many distribution points would be set up, but the maximum number discussed, 10, would be woefully inadequate for Gaza’s 2.2mn population, another official said."

"The Israeli military has previously set up similar “filtration points”, at which Palestinians have been beaten, taken to secret detention sites and subject to harsh interrogation."

"Israel has repeatedly justified its siege by claiming, without evidence, that Hamas diverts aid brought in by international organisations, or enriches itself by charging protection money. Humanitarian groups say the problem is not widespread."

"Harsh interrogation"

The usual daily update from israel - bullshit, war crimes, brutality

But hey let's forget about the best part of 2 million people being starved to death by israel, have we executed those terrorists Kneecap yet?

Anyone that chooses not to answer these two questions.... go fill your boots

Do you think the hostages should have been taken by Hamas on 7th October?

Should the hostages be released by Hamas?

I think the problem you are having is that you have only really been posting in this thread for the last few months.

Those who have been posting here since the start have had to point out to people the fallacies in others' arguments since day one. (Edit: Sorry, fat fingers posted too soon).

The "Israel couldn't respond in any other way" cunts are a case in point, now that they understand what is really going on they have all disappeared.

The point you are trying to make falls into the same sort of category and I don't think people have the strength to explain it all in detail any more in view of what is going on.

its taken this long though

Yep. Way too long. Decades too long even.

Expect a lot of this in the coming weeks/months/years:

"I have supported Israel, pretty much at all costs, but today, I want to say that I got it wrong,

This is not only this parliament not greatest hour, I'm really concerned that this is a moment in history where people look back, where we've got it wrong as a country.

Can the minister stand up to our friends and allies in the united states and make a strong stand for humanity? For us to be on the right side of history? For the moral courage to lead, not just to follow the united states?

That's why we're all elected here. Let's stand up for life."

More israel accounts who have been pro genocide throughout the last 18 months are changing their tune too

These are not points of view, just two really simple questions.
Now then BigJoeWum, imagine anyone on Bluemoon said Hamas should not have taken hostages and should not release hostages, how would that stop Israeli genocide? NB Hamas were releasing hostages until Netanyahu needed the ceasefire to stop in order to stay in power.

I don't know if you are wumming, but your blissful ignorance (wilful ignorance about history - decades ago or last week) is just tedious.

Well the consensus to me seems to be in here;
No.
Yes.

Now How?

Another simple question that was seemingly answered but Netanyahu decided he didn’t like the answer.

That’s quite complicated and it’s also something there seems to be a general consensus on in here.

You seem to have a different point of view, which of course you are entitled to to.

Good luck with it.
