Middle East Conflict | Netanyahu orders strikes on Gaza (p1161)

This **** was talking to the other **** Nick Ferrari this morning and said Trump deserved more than one Noble peace price for what he's done. This is the guy who kept denying we weren't sending any weopens over to Israel or parts for the F.35.
I missed that, thankfully

Ferrari has worked his socks off to enable the genocide. Notable shifts from shelagh fogarty and Vanessa feltz on the same station. Sanghita myska was removed for asking an Israeli spokesperson questions, which is (supposed to be) part of her job

The owner of global radio allegedly has links to the IDF.

So they’ve let the Palestinians back into Gaza, nice little killing zone for them now if those bodies aren’t released, I mean some of those bodies are probably under tonnes of bombed buildings they aren’t going to be easy to retrieve, so Israel can resume bombing. After the big show yesterday it could all come crashing down.

I suspect during the total destruction of their city by the IDF the whereabouts of dead hostages may not have been a priority for Hamas officials.

Hamas are finished mate. They were months ago.
Hamas’ leadership are all multi-billionaires, their money will keep them going. Most don’t even live in Gaza, they live a life of luxury in places like Qatar and will have been largely unaffected by anything that has happened in the last two years.

Even any that have been killed (which isn’t many, not even half a dozen: Sinwar, Deif, Issa, Al-Arouri), their money may just go to a family member or next in-line and, even if it doesn’t, others will just rely on Iran to fund them anyway. They’ll regroup and they’ll find recruiting the next batch of soldiers very easy from the displaced angry population who now have nothing to lose, and the whole cycle will carry on for years.

Surely the penny must drop with both sets of people that this is going nowhere but the total destruction of one or the other (or both).
This is what both sides intend. There will never be peace as long as either the Palestinians or Israelis are there. It’s good that the fighting has stopped, but there will be a lot of vengeance and hatred among millions of Palestinians.

Just what the world needs. 20 million Israeli and Palestinian exiles and refugees.

Don’t agree, as any signs of organised violence towards Israel from Gaza will be met with wholly disproportionate force and so any such movement won’t be able to gain any meaningful traction and momentum.

I’m not convinced they are multi billionaire either. Multi millionaires, I’ll accept but there’s a huge difference. And of course they’ve been affected by what happened in the last two years; just because they are living in luxury doesn’t mean their power base hasn’t been undermined. I also expect you’ll see quite a few Mossad targeted assassinations in the months and years ahead.

And I don’t think anyone should be relying upon any significant largesse from Iran for the foreseeable either.

I agree there’s an angry, displaced population in Gaza, who have suffered terrible injustices but I can’t personally see Hamas provided an effective outlet for that anger.

As I said, I think they are finished.

Who are you thinking will take their place?

Glad for some positive news regarding the cease fire, the trouble being that there are too many people over there who will nevr accept a long term agreement it just takes one incident to throw this progress away.

I get what you are saying but it implies some equivalence between the 2 sides when there really isn't any. The Israeli land grab and killing started in 1948. Elements within Hamas probably want the destruction of Isrzel even if there wax a viable 2 state solution in place but with an empowered Palestinian Aurhority, they would be on the margins.

Trumps daughter Ivanka converted to Judaism that explains the rumours Trump had converted and was seen visiting a synagogue.

There is a lot of hatred on both sides the encroachment and settlement of the West Bank by
Zionists the need for Israel to expand into Gaza with an even larger slice of military zone, its a never ending conflict.
The Palestinians are in no state to retaliate against Israel for decades, the Gaza Strip is totally destroyed the people are on their knees.
