Whatever the safety concerns are and whether Starmer and Badenoc want to turn it into a political football, the real issue is whether Israeli sports teams should be playing anywhere.
Just because there is a ceasefire doesn't mean the genocide can be swept under the carpet.
Did the world sweep German war crimes under the carpet just because there was a cessation of hostilities?

Russia are still banned from many competitions due to Ukraine. Why is Israel not treated the same?
 
Thing is its also protection for those fans as well, its a pretty obvious terrorist threat a group of Maccabi fans in one place. Have Starmer and Badenoch forgotten about Manchester the other week already ? If Starmer words made them change there minds and something bad happens that's his career rightly gone and Badenoch as well tbh.

There will be other football matches for the fans and other opportunities for political stunts for them two.
 
Not just the football fans the players and officials they have a right to protection, while tensions are high as the game in Amsterdam last year proved, the intelligence from that game shared to the West Midlands police caused them to act.
That’s how cooperation between football authorities is supposed to work.

Starmer and Badenoch once again creating a storm because the police don’t want a repeat of what happened in Amsterdam.

The footage widely circulated by the media was Maccabi fans attacking civilians in Amsterdam. A deliberate attempt to misrepresent the footage by the PM and Home Secretary.

Watch the video and part way through another young lad reporter also video the Maccabi fans rampaging through the town picking up sticks as weapons.

Could it be that they have so many high powered

I suspect it’s about earth resources
Disgusting colonisation of Palestinian people who despite their decades of oppression are far superior to our government who continue to prop up a western Israel with billions of American tax dollars.
A survey of top jobs found in proportion to it’s small population in the US they had many more people in positions of power than the general populace, our PM as an example.
 
I once strayed into a bus lane - it was camera monitored - I didn't see the signs, got a letter and paid the fine.
I doubt Israel has erected signs so straying is easily done by accident - these poor sods never got to just pay a fine

I'm afraid everything that is not being done to accommodate Israel is in part due to the Holocaust guilt trip which still permeates certain Western country's foreign policy. Given that that their actions over the last few days in closing crossings, shooting on sight and refusing offers of heavy-lifting equipment show their contempt for this supposed peace treaty which only exists in the deluded mind of Trump
