The Global Sumud Flotilla released a statement saying that it had been informed by the Italian Foreign Ministry that an Italian navy ship shadowing the flotilla would soon offer activists on board the chance to abandon ship before entering a “critical zone” near Gaza.

Italy and Spain have sent naval vessels to shadow the flotilla since last week, after a series of attacks on the flotilla.

“Every single participant on board came with full knowledge of the risks,” the statement added. “We are not here under any false illusion. We are here because it is far more dangerous to remain silent in the face of genocide, starvation, and collective punishment than it is to sail carrying humanitarian aid.”

“The Italian government knows this, and yet instead of using its considerable naval power to break an illegal siege, it is choosing to escort us only to the point of danger and then try to peel us away, delivering us back to shore empty-handed.”

“The Italian navy will not derail this mission,” the statement said.

He was going through how he is "blown away" how bad the pr is for israel, referring to netanyahus speech and jokes about the Lebanon pagers and calling anti war maga people "woke right". He was saying how they are pretty much at the very end line of any support

Israels response to this isn't to stop the genocide, stop killing and bribing everyone, daily war crimes etc. It is to pump out more lies and propaganda - Netanyahu has said “We have to fight back. How do we fight back? Our influencers. I think you should also talk to them if you have a chance, to that community, they are very important.”

Two days ago the Labour conference "backed a union-led motion accepting a UN finding that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza and urging the British government to act to prevent it" Guardian

Good to know our most prominent politicians will completely ignore this, public opinion, genocide scholars, prominent NGO's and international law to declare their loyalty to the genocidal state of israel.

Interesting that our politicians are coming out with public support for israel now in the same way that unhinged zionist politicians in america frequently come out with the "America stands with israel, always" type bullshit that is pumped out over there on a daily basis.

Starmer accused Reform as having racist policies, Starmer a double standard hypocrite most of our politicians are. Only those politicians that supported Palestine will have my vote

Two years we have done nothing to dissuade Netanyahu down the path of genocide, decades of supporting white Europeans at the expense of thousands of our brown yellow or red brothers, hypocrites and the underclass in this country will be treated with the same indifference that Starmer and Trump have displayed towards Palestine

I honestly think they got so used to being able to get away with their actions in Palestine post-Rabin facing no repercussions that they overestimated their ability to shut down dissenting voices.

Like all ocupying miliatary forces they also seemed to overestimate their ability to win a guerilla war against an ideology, so they probably thought theyd have "destroyed" Hamas and occupied Gaza 12-18 months ago and the world would have moved on in the same way it did after Russia invaded Crimea.

Twenty years from now Israel will totally regret the last two years - Zionism is killing the country and their reputation abroad - they will not be welcomed holidaying anywhere outside Israel and lets face it when the Netanyahu/Trump wet dream of beachside property begins construction and the first IED blows the foundations out of the ground then its over - they have radicalised another generation of fighters and there are enough groups who will supply them with the wherewithall to continue the fight. In the end all that this has done is imperilled Jewish communities around the world
