Middle East Conflict

At least they know where their bread is buttered.

The best way to tell if Harris is genuine just ask these questions.

(1) are kids still dying? (2) Are bombs still being shipped? (3) Is the person in question refusing to commit to stopping the shipment of said bombs? If the answer to all three questions is yes then nothing they say matters at all.

Probably mentioned this on here before but in his magisterial history of the Palestine-Israel conflict, Avi Shlaim tells how Netanyahu was once secretly videotaped during his first term of office saying that the Palestinians should be repeatedly beaten up ‘until it is unbearable’.

Plus, after the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin in 1995, his widow Leah refused to shake Netanyahu’s hand because of the part she felt he had played in inciting hatred towards her husband. But she was moved by the sincerity and warmth of PLO leader Yasser Arafat when he visited her in person to offer his condolences. “Sometimes”, she observed, “I feel that we can find a common language with Arabs more easily than we can with the Jewish extremists”.

Arafat’s handshake, she explained, symbolised for her the hope for peace, whereas Netanyahu’s handshake represented no such hope.

Yet more evidence that this odious piece of shit belongs in the same moral cesspit as Hamas.

Maybe you should apologise for your use of the phrase 'final solution' as you know full well what that refers to.

Israel doesn't have territorial ambitions despite what most on here believe, they want peace so why would they want anything east of Jordan . However the same can't be said of the majority of 'Palestinians' who just want to kill all Jews worldwide. The current situation isn't about creating a new state though is it, it's about the total destruction of Israel.
Meanwhile…

It might help if you were less vague about your own views. Are you with Likud that from the river to the sea there will only be Israeli sovereignty? That would be in defiance of international law. Then what happens (finally) to the Palestinians within that one-state territory? Just deportation?

Or are you a bit more Revisionist Zionist / Smotrich with territorial ambitions north and east? Don't ask "Why would they want anything east of Jordan?" without acknowledging some of Zionist history (and some Zionist views today).

Labour Friends of Apartheid are not happy Starmer follows international law.

So, LFI are disappointed that the UK followed international law and they’d prefer it if those facing sanction should be investigated and tried by their own legal statutes.

Well, I’m disappointed that the Israeli system investigates and always comes to the same answer, ‘We’re innocent, nothing to see here, please move on’.
