Many in the country have actually been charged with war crimes and their leader cannot go to any country under the jurisdiction of the ICC.When were Russia being condemned as much as Isreal are?
Not by Amnesty or many left of centre organisations who are shouting from the rooftops about Isrealvand that's for sure.
In fairness to our owners they are in a very very difficult position, so I'm reserving judgement at the moment.Only palace and Chelsea say that they feeling whith the evil hamas
The silence of the f a
And my team ( ya I know afraid of Arab money)
Understand but still disappointIn fairness to our owners they are in a very very difficult position, so I'm reserving judgement at the moment.
Put to one side that we are not technically state owned...
UAE is one of the few Arab countries that recognise Israel. Further they are one of the few Arab counties that have ignored the call to Boycott Israel, specifically actually with City's sponsorship with Wix which caused quite a stir.
So it is a little easier for Chelsea to make such statements without causing a political shit storm. This has the potential to escalate into WW III at the moment so I can understand why UAE might be cautious.
As much as I personally would love to see a statement from City, I can understand why the owners are hesitant. Yup we can argue City's statement should be distinct from UAE but on this one I think we need to be pragmatic.
I think they e lost all good will.Yes gradually - they are winding up to accelerate that though - I doubt they will care but may well look to its friends in future and be disappointed that they are ignored

Do Russia have a Friends of Russian group that consists of the majority of members from our Governing Party? When were Russia being condemned as much as Isreal are?

I have contradictory feelings on US involvement in conflicts. On the one side, i feel like their involvement in Ukraine is justified as they are helping the weaker side defend itself. On the other, i feel like their involvement in Israel is just bolstering a country that is already a disproportionate power within the region and leading to them taking aggressive stances where they might otherwise be more restrained or even conciliatory. Can I have an opinion that it's OK for them to impose their foreign policy in one conflict whilst not on the other? I don't know if I can. Maybe that's the long game of the Hamas actions and I'm a pawn in it.It looks that way, but once the world starts paying attention things might change, in many ways this could be a cathartic moment
The problem is the US ignored, put their fingers in their ears and hoped it would go away, but like a volcano it’s erupted again and 1000s are dead on both sides, perhaps they will pay attention now
The corrupt and ineffective PA needs to go as well, there needs to be younger leadership for Palestinians, leadership with vision not locked into the past
Agreed, we need more people with balancing opinions in the corridors of power if we want nuanced decisions.Just as a side note, and I’m in not a fan of the SNP, Humza Yousah has been incredible the last week, even more so given his personal situation.
