Middle East Conflict

Because ethnic cleansing doesn't refer to the numbers of a certain population.

This is the definition of ethnic cleansing:
Rendering an area ethnically homogeneous by using force or intimidation to remove from a given area persons of another ethnic or religious group.
Your right trouble is both bloody sides are intent on doing it and don't care who they murder/kill depending on your point of view in the process.

It's the "from the river to the sea" chant because it implies no Jews in the land, though historically it's been used by Arabs and Jews (and not just historically).
It’s a song though? Tbh Palestine has always been songs and sticks and stones against tanks and missiles

The partition of India was not really much to do with the British although they drew the lines, it was the aspirations some Muslims and Hindus, they just couldn’t get on together, it was a terrible time and neither group came out well
The British were guilty of precipitating the religious divisions that were always there in Indian society as part of the divide and rule policy.
That, IMO, doesn't mean to say that those divisions wouldn't have surfaced regardless of any British influence.

This is why it is important for the powerful players, most notably the US, to stop blindly backing Israel and find a fair and equitable solution for both sides.

So Hamas surrender and the current cycle of suffering stops (highly improbable). What of the civilians that have died, will their families want revenge and start a campaign like Hamas? Should they want justice for their family and loved ones being killed?

Like an Israeli soldier above tried to say their war is with all civilians as well as Hamas (someone tried to justify it by saying it’s because he’s lost his mother so it’s understandable he feels like that) should the Palestinians be doing the same? Take the war to Israeli civilians?

It seems like a never ending cycle.

There is a saying that a system based on injustice can never prosper.

It's that word "started" that's the problem unless "this whole thing" means just the last 9 days.
They certainly kicked off this latest episode in this long running story with a display of Barbarism straight out of the Medieval Playbook
