Middle East Conflict

Yeah there's not much point telling a million odd people to flee to an area for safety if your going to bomb it anyway
Firstly, I've no idea what you're going on about in the first paragraph.
In your next para.
They were told to leave northern Gaza, that's against the international law in itself then they continued to bomb southern Gaza.
Of course they are operating out of Gaza and in civilian areas, that would be because it's a small area and is mostly urban and nobody can leave which is blatantly obvious. You've no proof that Hamas ordered people to stay put and tens of thousands didn't heed it if they did. Logic suggests that Hamas attacked their own civilians in a refugee lorry. Some logic that.
And your last paragraph you condone war crimes committed by Israel as inevitable.
Yeah there's not much point telling a million odd people to flee to an area for safety if your going to bomb there anyway.

I'll tell you this **** would use this to try revive a otterman sized land grab amd a turkish controlled levant if he could swallowing up northern iraq, syria and the rest.

Likud and the IDF are being cunts amd Hamas are murdering bastards, but equally other oportunists and crackpot leaders in the region will try to capitalise

Surely Hamas, an organisation/government that admits genocide is it's aim, needs to be stopped. Does anyone disagree with that statement? The problem then becomes how Hamas can be stopped and brought to justice and who should do it. If the UN, the international community, the Palestinians themselves, the Palestinian supporters don't want to do anything about Hamas then what option do the Israeli's have? Idea's anyone? Does it just become justice based on maths, you kill 1000 of us and we will kill 1000 of you?

I keep hearing this, but you think the only option for Israel is the destruction we are seeing?

What about the identification and elimination of Hamas leaders wherever they are with precision strikes and special forces. That will have the same effect as the flattening of Gaza, a disruption in the supply of arms and funding, without 10,000 unneccesary deaths. Unless they are going to kill everyone in Gaza, they are going to fail to completely destroy Hamas anyway. It's just a stall. Getting rid of Hamas leadership would also be supported by most sane people and not destroy whatever goodwill the Israelis had after the incursion.

Longer term, nothing less than diplomacy. Israel (under pressure)/ Palestinians and US/ Iran.

My twopenneth anyway. Fire away.

It's an opinion by one of the "founding fathers" of Zionism. I've highlighted it simply because most Zionists (of his time) seem to have been largely silent on what should happen to the Arab inhabitants of the land. Herzl said nothing in "The Jewish State" (1896) but later (after actually visiting Palestine) envisioned in his utopian novel "The Old-New Land" that Jewish enterprise and prosperity would mean Arabs would willingly come on board with the idea of a Jewish but multicultural state.
And there's about 2m who have come on board when they stayed within the 1948 borders and accepted citizenship.

He’s a populist that’s what they do, however Turkey is very keen to get its leadership role in the region back, this conflict has all kinds of consequences for the world

So if it vaporises them in mid air it wouldn't be causing a big explosion when it lands would it?

However real my point was Israeli claimed that it was a Hamas rocket fired from a cemetary and the most ikely one is very near the hospital

Therefore the Israeli air defense systems - presumably located in Israel - would have to have detected and intercepted a rocket fired from very close to the hospital almost as soon as it was launched

The intercepting projectile would need to a travel a minimum of 10Km from the Israeli border to just above the hospital in the middle of Gaza in the same time as the Hamas rocket travelled a few hundred metres. I'm no rocket scientist but the general principle is that they fly pretty quick and so I remain sceptical about this claim.

Don’t these rockets have 2 propulsion systems? There’s the first little spurt to get it out of the tube and away from the troops firing it, then a second is supposed to kick in and send it miles.

I assumed what happened is a misfire or malfunction where the rocket launched, but then dropped out of the sky when the 2nd engine didn’t kick in.

Dismissing the indiscriminate mass murder and forced mass migration as funny only shows the kind of person you are.
He wasn't saying it was funny, he was saying that if it there had been genocide the population would go down not up
