Surely Hamas, an organisation/government that admits genocide is it's aim, needs to be stopped. Does anyone disagree with that statement? The problem then becomes how Hamas can be stopped and brought to justice and who should do it. If the UN, the international community, the Palestinians themselves, the Palestinian supporters don't want to do anything about Hamas then what option do the Israeli's have? Idea's anyone? Therefore the Israeli air defense systems - presumably located in Israel - would have to have detected and intercepted a rocket fired from very close to the hospital almost as soon as it was launched
The intercepting projectile would need to a travel a minimum of 10Km from the Israeli border to just above the hospital in the middle of Gaza in the same time as the Hamas rocket travelled a few hundred metres. I'm no rocket scientist but the general principle is that they fly pretty quick and so I remain sceptical about this claim.
