Middle East Conflict

The sad thing is that in reality, we should all be able to go on a march one week in solidarity with the people of Palestine, and another the next week denouncing anti-semitism. But that's just not the way the world works any more. If you're on one march, you're automatically the enemy of everyone on the other march.
Well said mate. I’d have no qualms going on the 2 marches you outline.

Plenty on here hate certain Jewish individuals.

Are they antisemitic?
That’s a good point.
Do they hate the individuals because they are Jewish? That’s the question.
Or is it simply a clash of personalities.

It would be like me asking, is it because I’m Irish or is it because I is black( Ali G, before anyone asks)

I’ve been listening to Radio 5 Live this morning and the reporters have said it’s virtually impossible to be able to corroborate any news accounts from Gaza now.

Ah right so what you're saying is no other poster on any thread on this entire forum can ever post on a question they aren't being asked?

I hate the IDF and Jewish Government. I also think they are terrorist too.
There is no Jewish government. Its an Israeli government.

Ali G was class. Sasha Baron Cohen is class in The Spy too on Netflix.

On a wider point. I’m not sure whether there is hardly anyone on here who hates other people because of their religion but it’s possible to get caught up in things. During last week, we were being told that Muslim extremists would attack our cenotaphs. I was in 2 minds whether to be prepared for this at my local cenotaph, until I came to my senses. I spoke to other people who could have been affected by the same hysteria. Attendance for Remebrance Sunday was multi-cultural and no surprise, there wasn’t any mither. Hopefully, things will get calmer with Braverman out of the door.

To be fair it's hard to corroborate any news article from any source these days never mind a war with propaganda in full swing from BOTH sides.
