It's all about starting on the positive foot. We get the goal and Boro's whole game plan has to change. Once that happens they play into our hands and bobs your uncle. We need to remain calm and patient though, it's been evident in the past that us rushing in front of goal tends to end up with good stats in the attempts tally but not so good in the goals scored.
 
The problem is that Pep has said that prior to his last injury Vinny was available for quite a few weeks and it was simply Pep's own decision that he had not chosen him. I fear that Pep's view on Vinny is not the same as mine or most others on here.

It's about time we scored an early goal,makes life much easier

Well Im not pleased about it but I cant see when Pep would play him. Its the business end of the season, and not the time to play someone back into form and fitness. Hes not going to start him in champions league knockout rounds or the FA cup semi final, and will he want to be playing him in the league? Not trying to be a clever ****, dont get arsey. Just an opinion

Haha! I wasn't being arsey, I know you've been saying for a little while he's likely finished here so was just pointing it out.
 
Why does every manager at City becoming scared of using young players. To not even have Garcia on the bench is very poor from Pep. Do far this season even Pellegrini had played them more no?

Thats the bit i don't understand

The one game he played the full 90....we were solid defensively and he fitted in easily.

HIs one on one tacking is by far better than any of the other defenders. He has pace which neither none of any of the centre backs have and far superior strength as well..He also aint a headless chicken like Ottomendi is at times and is far superior in tacking than either stones or Kolarov.

He is better in the air than any of the others.

His distribution is as good as anyones (better than certainly Ottos, Stones and any of the fullbacks..the only arguably better is Kolarov and I would even disagree there as Kolarov is limited to his left foot which limits his passing options sometimes as he refuses to use his right)

Pep did saying his briefing that Kompany had only a little time to practise with the team so Im hoping this is the reason....other than that its must be because either Kompany himself or Pep is fearful he could break down again and leave us short in a match.....It certainly cant be based on ability, tactical awareness of anything else on the pitch..

top 4 should be a priority over FA Cup. Yes the team the other day should have been good enough, though Sterling and Silva from start would have been better. I'm moaning because I'm still cut from the other night. Maybe a good thumping today will make me feel better!
