Did anybody else notice how Big Sam's mob completely fell apart when Turgay was taken off...in the 70th minute I believe. Yes, they did score thereafter, but that was against the run of play. When he departed (and with Vassell hustling them instead of Elano), we dominated the park and had nearly 70% of possession. That is the sort of player we desperately need. Not sure if Gelsen and/or Johnson will ever achieve the required standard. Only Ireland fits the bill right now. Kaka, Diego or Essien, please.

yep definately...we need either another kompany to allow him to play centre back or a centre back so he can carry on in the centre

Diego is untested in the Prem would be risky at the prices quoted, KaKa is a no-go he will not come to City, especially in January. Essien is a great shout but he is out for the rest of the season so maybe in the summer but can't see it happening.
