There may be loopholes, there may be ways around it, we may already have taken this into consideration and have a plan ready to be implemented; but i also think that we do not make nearly as much money as we should from seasoncards, match tickets and corperate sales. I think sc prices will be £800 and above in the coming years.

Heres a thought, how do the rules deal with assets?
Say for instance we built a state of the art 100 million pound stadium that held 70 thousand supporters and we reduced ticket prices in the new seats to £10 -£15 quid each ti increase revenue.
Now then our owners then use there development companies to build the stadium at a cost of £20 million, the development company make an £80 million loss, we suddenly have an £80 million increase in assets and then our owners pump the money into the development arm.
As we get a 100 million pund stadium for 20 million nonone can throw the value for money card at us either.
There must be so may potential loop holes to work within these regulations.

While eveyone is getting bogged down in the financials there is perhaps a more fundamental point which hasn't, as far as I know, been discussed.
What's the penalty for non-compliance? Everyone is assuming it's non-entry into European competition and yes that's the ultimate punishment but there are others....a financial slap on the wrist could be the starting point.
Will UEFA really ban City and the current European Champions Inter (who are in the same boat) from the CL? Talk about a devalued competition....breakaway anyone? (not the biscuit!)
City will be fine in around 5 years with income from surrounding complex to be built. Until then we are in trouble...the question is though....How much trouble?
