Might Jack Grealish play for City again?

I'm amazed that so much emphasis was always placed upon what this 20-something did in his spare time.

I never once saw him show anything less than full effort on the pitch. I've also said before - for those who are locked into stats, stats and nothing but the stats - that the key pass leading to a goal is not always the final ball, so the actual creator is often given no credit for his contribution.

The reaction of the other players, whenever celebrating on the pitch, suggested that he was a very popular player, and they're the bunch who would best know whether he was pulling his weight or not.

Apart from when he's playing against City, I hope he has a terrific season.

He had bad fitness struggles here, don't think he managed 3 starts in a row during his last 2 seasons. That will always shine a light on the players lifestyle and Jack gave the press enough rope to hang him with in that regard. I don't believe he was out on the piss every week but he should have been smart enough to stay out of the papers when he wasn't fit enough to play for City. Did him no favours. Wish him all the best at Everton, great player on his day.

Nice guy and all but he just was not good enough for us, hence not even being able to sell him and ending up having to loan him. Everton is his level.
Love Jack but....Yeah, I pretty much agree with that.
I hope Everton give us a few million for him and take him off our wage bill.
He's definitely done at City.

My Everton supporting mate is completely enamoured with Grealish - thinks he's the best player he's seen playing for them. I knew he'd do well for them and he's been really quite excellent. It's a shame he wasn't able to make himself as available for City.

He was good enough...but that was part of the issue many had. He was just good enough. He was almost never the worst player on the pitch for us, but also almost never the best either.

The fact Pep played him through most of the run in during the treble and had him in the finals shows that Pep never doubted his ability. If you're not good enough for us, then your time here will be much more like Phillips.

Injuries haven't helped his cause here regardless of anything that may or may not have happened off pitch. He's 30 now by the way.

I think he needs to be the main creative man. You had so many, that he never had that responsibility. I think at Everton he will be and shine.

He’s at the right level. His body cannot handle the number of fixtures any European side plays either. Best for him to stay there.

I am just amazed at how many fans here kept on saying that he could not play 3 games in a week. He cannot play for a European side etc.

If Man City wants to get some real money from his sale next summer, the best chance is to attract some European club to make him a offer, including Everton (if they make into top 6 by some miracle).

You are trying to sell a product. Trash talk will not help.
