Might Jack Grealish play for City again?

Moyes believes in Jack because he hasn't got anyone better, City have at the moment.
We didn't last season, we persisted with players playing sub par. We played Jack (never consecutively) and on the whole played pretty well. Forest at home just as an example, played centrally, had a good game, we beat what turned out to be a very good Forest side and during our horrible run. Kicked back into touch the next week. In the end it was clearly personal with Pep. There's no logic to not utilise a good player, when the players around you are playing so poorly, no reason to bring a kid on to make his debut in a cup final, to ship him off the next season if he wasn't being personal. That's where I say Moyes, for now trusts him, believes in him and plays him. Just them factors alone should allow a player to thrive.

He lost his way near the end of the season.
I could think of at least 10 players who had better seasons.
Ederson,Akanji,Diaz,Stones,Foden,Rodri,KDB,Gundogan,Silva and Haaland.
Grealish lost his way, and you pick Foden over him that season who was rarely used or trusted during that run in? Haha ok mate. It was Grealish's end to that season what was impressive, and to be an ever present in a treble winning side during them final months says it all. It is all then subjective over who was better, which when you create history and win all that, of course you are going to have many players having a good season.

Not seen the latest but he's actually said similar at various times over the last 3 seasons as a quick Google will show anyone. Why people leap to defend accusations against him when he's happily admitted it in interviews I have no idea.

Most were arguing against the laughable view that he wasnt good enough and that the real reason must be something else. Plus there is a difference between socialising too much for Peps liking and being the recincarnation of Ollie Reed.
Lets not rewrite history here. We will probably never know the full story.

It is easier to shine in a mid-table team. He is also fired up to play his way back into the England team, but as things stand, Doku on the left this season has mostly been excellent, and his worst performance, albeit late on against Brentford and not bad, reminded me of Grealish at City over the last couple of seasons. I honestly can’t see him coming back, but if City can’t get a decent bid for him, he might.

Yeah anyone who saw Messi for Rochdale knew how good he really was.

Obviously Jack wasn't behaving and doing what Pep wanted. Currently he's doing ok at Everton but doing nothing different than he was at City I still believe, even last season, Doku was a better option. Only my opinion.

“The full story” is nearly always sex or money. Hmmmm…

1 year I think. He's not coming back to run his contract down whilst not playing much. Everton will pay the (circa) £50million and that will be that.
That wasn’t my point (never suggested he would want to run his contract down?!) was more about what value we could get on him. £50m with one year left seems a lot

Walker got a new contract after all the shit he did in public. Wonder what Jack did that was worse

Can someone put Jack Grealish back in the England squad? Instead of a night on the pitch with the lads in Latvia in the pissing rain, Jack was drowning his sorrows in Dubai.

Last Sunday he rocked up in McGettigans, Jumeirah Lake Towers (a chain Irish bar in a bland expat suburb - think O’Neils Kingston-upon-Thames or Kennedys Altringham) just after opening. And proceeded to stay there all day drinking.

Jack was absolutely lovely to all concerned. Taking selfies, playing with kids, holding people’s babies. He even paid for everyone around him in the pub to have a roast dinner. At one point, he also tried to video call Ronan Keating, who he considers “a best mate”.

Eventually the pints were too much for such an elite athlete, and Jack started to snooze. Someone called one of the local celeb fixers - a big English bloke called Bill - who turned up and got the footballer home. His girlfriend must have been delighted.

True or not, I feel a bit bad for Jack, he's a bit of a throwback in the modern game. He would have fit in great in the 80's and 90's when they were all pisscans and were on the lash 2 or 3 days a week. Probably a good move to go to Everton where Moyes is also a bit of a throwback, its a decent match.

It’s true. I asked a friend of mine who is connected to that pub in Dubai about it and he confirmed it.
