this website has everything you need to know about our youth/eds fixtures, signings and so much more
+1

Appears that Barca have won the race to sign Sainz Maza, 4 year contract and he goes into their B team. But we beat them to Suarez and apparently Khaloua now.

Gai Assulin is 19 though isn't he? These guys, plus Suarez, are still in nappies.

Was there an announcement on the OS regarding Juan Roman, Nils Zander, Loris Karius etc? Maybe there was, but i don't remember one.

how old is Suarez? 18?

I wonder if all the players you mentioned above will be doing the America tour. Hope so, as all those matches are on TV here, love to watch the youngsters.

I don't know if they had an announcement about Juan Roman signing, but they did do a video feature on him last season.
Nils Zander is/was shit. He may have already left us, i'm not sure. Juan Roman is doing reasonably well, but apparently his development has slowed down a bit recently. No idea about Karius. All i know is he is a German goalkeeper!

I'm pretty sure Suarez is going on the America tour. I remember reading it somewhere when we signed him.

To be fair people on here would say that if he had two bad games.

The little i've seen of Roman he looks like he's gonna be the shit. Every inch a Silva in the making.

Lets just just snap up all the Spanish young jimmys. Cant go wrong.

Zander was sent packing...The other signing Helen looks a bit of pussy for being such a beast.

Zander tanked badly. When he signed the hype was so big that they were talking of him possibly deputising for Bridge at the age of 16 or so. Then he couldn't even cut it in the youth team so was sold (released?) back to Schalke.

Helan has not justified the controversy we went through to get him yet either. He's fast and skillful but lacks end product and doesn't stand out. But still only 18/19 I think.

Assulin (remember he was considered one of the best youngsters in Europe before he joined us and had a 30m buyout fee at Barca), Suarez, Roman, and now Khaloua mean we have an assortment of attacking riches signed from Spain and who knows, possibly more to come.

What does, '...he looks like he's gonna be the shit.' mean? I presume it's the Californian equivalent of an english canine's testacles?

He is gonna be the dawgz bollox! ANd I can attest to that. He is cerebral beyond his age and has an immaculate touch on the ball.

I have very high hopes for Roman and his future. For him to have Silva here as a "mentor" must be as good as it gets. Hopefully a few more young Spaniards will come here to join him.

His featurette from the OS:
