Let's be honest mate, today was far from our cup final, that comes on the 16th Jan '11, our home leg of the derby vs the skunks. If I was in your position the thing that would piss me off would be the so called fans who'd automatically assume that we meant more to fans of other teams than what we ever had done before simply because a billionaire sheik had invested a lot of money into the club. Not having a go at you personally Breadsnapper. ;-)

I thought the referee was quite fair today, don't think he got many decisions wrong. He didn't miss the open goal, he didn't make a superb save from Adebayor and he didn't forget to play the second half...

If I'd have used full stops or comma's in that sentence then it wouldn't have made sense, maybe you should learn your grammar if you have difficulty understanding that. Basically I was suggesting that you think a lot more of yourselves than what we do if you thought that today's match was some kind of a cup final to us.

The reason I joined the forum is because there were Man City lads posting on ours, all sportingly (from what I saw) I might add, and so I thought I'd join in the banter & post here, nothing more to it than that really.

Maybe the reason you dont understand why the derby v the mags is an important game to us is because the team that you would no doubt consider to be your biggest rivals seem to overlook yourselves when it comes to what they see as their biggest game of the season, vs Liverpool.

And I think that you should check your history before saying that our club has achieved fuck all, last time I checked we'd won the English League Title a total of 6 times, as opposed to your 2... :)

If a team with Champions League (and title) ambitions cannot go to a place like Sunderland and dominate possession (we did!) and use it to score goals (we did NOT!), then we get what we deserve.

I am ABSOLUTELY apoplectic that

a) Dean decided the game with a penalty in injury time for a "foul" on an "offside" player who had NO CHANCE of EVER reaching the ball, and

b) Richards is such a dumb fuck

c) Mancini is playing "Chelsea/Arsenal/United/Liverpool/Spurs away" tactics at Sunderland!

My question now is whether he will have the balls to sit Tevez in the League, because he is NOT a lone striker, OR whether he will play with FORWARDS and attack the fuck out of teams that should not be in the game by half time?!

The time to stroke the ball around at the back is to relieve pressure and to kill the game off when you are two up....NOT when you are struggling to get on the score sheet! Bringing Adebayor on with 12 minutes to go, and Jo coming on in fucking injury tome is ADMITTING YOUR MISTAKE!

Now, Roberto, get your finger out and FIX the attacking problems. Fucking Silva is getting 10 minutes to have an effect? WTF? By 55 minutes, it should have been clear that simply pushing Yaya up to support Tevez was NOT working and that we needed to take off Lescott and AJ, put Barry in the LB/LM slot, put De Jong and Yaya in front of the back four, and put Silva and Milner on the wings and Adebayor upfront with Tevez to play off.

In fact, THAT would be MY starting XI for almost every game!!!

I have a suggestion for you: why don't you start managing a team - at any level, Sunday league will do. Your successes will get you noticed and you will start climbing the managerial ladder. You will end up managing a Premiership side but doing it better than Mancini. You will be a millionare and be able to come on bluemoon and explain how, every week, you are doing it better than Mancini.

There are reasons why managers need to be given time. Take any manager at all and before the successes you will find seasons which are poor and could have gotten the manager the sack. But you are better than all these managers, obviously, because all these managers had to do was shift their players around a bit - as you have done with this Sunderland game - and they would have won. And they would have won every game because you can shift around the players in every game.

Gosh I'm really impressed. Let me know what team you are managing.
