Been sacked it would seem, according to Charles Sale in the Daily Fail. Apparently he actually worked for G4S and not the club and was sacked for gross misconduct after revealing "confidential" information which included the fact that the team were on a bus going to the airport.

Corbett, 65, who has worked at the club for more than 20 years, was sacked by his employers, security firm G4S, for a number of alleged breaches of contract involving divulging sensitive information about the players.

These supposed ‘breaches’ include telling a disabled fan, who was a regular collector of Cityautographs, that the team bus was on its way to Manchester airport.

City, who claim they found out about Corbett’s exit only after it was a fait accompli, say they cannot interfere with G4S company policy despite his job being based at City’s Carrington training base.

City should just recruit him directly for a nice bit of positive PR.

what else did he disclose ?

All players took a dump sometime between the hours of 12am and 11:59pm yesterday, and possibly the day before also. Rumors they "ATE" breakfast on the same day are unconfirmed.
