The UK moving to a female PM did hamper him I agree but for a time he was massive on Saturday Night TV wasn't he? I believe anyway he basically struggled with a decline in popularity he went on the piss and that was more or less that. Anyway great for his time so RIP - go do a guest slot on the Park show in TV heaven
