Mike Yarwood

"And this is me..." when he went from his singing impressions to his own singing voice with a wink to the camera. As if we couldn't tell the difference !
RIP Mike - you were a very talented impressionist.

My dad used to love him. I've got the vaguest of memories of him from around 81 ish. I was only 7 or 8 but I found him funny. I believe he got some kind of stage fright coming into the 80s and wasn't the same again. Nobodies mentioned the fact he was a City supporter yet. RIP Blue.

He was a County fan as I recall, although in the 70s and 80s there was often some overlap in the fanbases.
I always thought he was a blue, in fact, I'm sure I've heard many quotes from various people he was a blue..but it wouldn't be the first time I'd be wrong.

He never sounded like any ****. He woukd end a song by saying, and this is me. I was only a little lad but even then I knew he was a ****.
