If one of our corner taking specialist could avoid the 1st man more often I might be able to see how hard it is to find our players in the box.

I genuinely cant believe that someone, anyone, thinks our collection of world class technically gifted players with proven ability to cross the ball and hit free kicks is hitting the first man because they're shit.
Corners have a less than 2% success rate for a reason and it's not because no one in the world can hit a corner.

People act like this is under 12 football. It would be trivially easy for our players to never hit the first man. It’s such a simplistic complaint.
If their only objective was to not hit the first man then theyd not hit the guy once out of 100.
The problem is that they need to hit the ball in a certain corridor so it's gettable by a forward but not the keeper, with a lot of pace, and at a trajectory that means its coming down on the head of a smaller player surrounded by much bigger defenders.
The idea that it's piss easy and our world class players just have a massive hole in their technique or skillset is laughable.
