Young players tend to want loans. We have only really be able to give midfielders game time. CB develop late. I could see Ake or Laporte wanting to leave. So getting Skrinair on a free and selling Laporte and or Ake for maybe 40 million each and loaning or selling Doyle and THB for maybe 10 - 20 million each. Would be cracking business financially might come back to bite us long term maybe. And I don’t know how good the players are but I can see why it makes sense.

I just checked because i was shocked when you said on a free.

But yeah, a top rated CB might be available for free.

I change my stance, last i read they wanted like 80m for him and might get nothing. What is Inter thinking.

Kind of strange, we don't really need more centerbacks with 5 currently here.

Even if 1 or 2 leave, we have THB or Calum Doyle as backup depth.

This is a position that's set for many years.

Not sure I see what the point would be. If anything I think we need to sell a centre-back and use that squad space on a fullback.
