millwall game at maine road that brought the banning of fans

your all a bunch of sad twats. these things need leaving in the past.

Clear as day I can remember leaving the North Stand that day with a huge line of police and a bigger line of blues waiting for the Millwall lads to come out. Shouts of "STAND....don't f***in' run...STAND". I showed a clean pair of heels and was off faster than you could say "soiled trousers".

Are we not allowed to remind ourselves of something that ACTUALLY happened? I think you will find this is remaining in the past, or do you want us to pretend it never happened?

BEWARE, THE THOUGHT POLICE.

aye. i'd had a few last night. but no-one took the bait ;-)

I went to the Millwall v Oldham game this year with a pal as i was working down there with him on the sat night,he came to west ham with me on the sunday for our game.

Oldham scored the winner in the last minute and it was a pretty lively walk back to the tube,it seemed an even bigger shithole than when we were last there!

seen a top vid of london bridge affair..dunno if it ever got copied .

I was about 15 at the time, my mate at school said his brothers ticket was spare and did I wanted to go. I said yeah and was told the ticket was 'near' the away fans.

When we got to the ground, we were right on the edge of the City fans. We were sat next to the riot police. Before the game, a load of Milwall fans walked down the row past a gap in the police where a gangway was, and were eyeing up the City fans.

The coins, 'beer' and seats started soon after half time I think, and when they charged over to get us we ran like girls and ended up in the North Stand. Had we stayed, we'd have been well within the Milwall end or on our way to the MRI!

I was there, I was but a boy and as a result decided to not take on the Millwall boys. Next time I'll probably do some punches at them though and even a kick and perhaps a flurry of punches.

I got on the train at stoke station, had my big kappa city jacket on, i waited in the tunnel at the station to make sure there were no Millwall fans on the train. It was empty, so i got on!
When it pulled into stockport station the train started to rock as it slowed down, there must of been a few hundred millwall fans, i totaly shite my pants!A few tried to kick off with me on the platform at piccadilly. when we got to the riot police at the end of the station the cops made me go with the millwall fans! brilliant! I waited with the police outside the station while those idiots dissapeard, there was this united fan aswell, who tried to get off the train at stockport, but they threw him back on the train and gave him a good beating! I got National express back to stoke! didnt want to take the chance of bumping into them after the result!

Met a Millwall fan a few years back through a mate , he came up on a coach ,told me every window was put through on it by the time they were let out , in his words it was like the fucking Wild West afterwards .

Lol at gangs of pussies havin bitchfights ! I’d back myself to handle any of them even now

Mind you I am a former six weight world boxing champion.

Millwall brought a huge firm and got off the train at Stockport.

they had a scuffle with some Reds at Stockport station.

When they arrived in Mcr they were heavily escorted to the ground.

In the ground they threw seats and got them thrown back.

A massive City firm gathered outside after and had scuffles with the police, who succeeded in pushing them all the way back to Wilmslow Road. Millwall were kept in the grounmd then escored back down Lloyd Street.

City's lads made their way to town and smashed up some of the shops in Rusholme.

Attempts were made by both sides to meet but it never happened.

City later had a battle with United when they got back from Forest.

That's basically it.

Spot on DD. Also must point out it ŵas not just Millwall’s firm. They were joined by lads from Chelsea, Reading, QPR and others.
Also on McIntyre undercover, there was a bit where he was hiding behind a wall and it was going off like mad, he said on camera... “That’s not the Millŵall fans, that’s the City fans”. The ‘London’ firms were well protected on their walk back to town. City were on every corner. So many bullshit myths about Millwall that day.

This thread's nearly 10 years old!

Hope you're well, pal. Some blasts from the past on this thread.
