This wont be done this weekend. Cant see Milner playing for Villa though (he hasnt featured for them at all pre season) plus their fans are not happy with him.

Ireland certainly wont play for us. As likely as Bellamy playing for us again ! They will miss Milner alot more than we will miss Ireland.

Looks like Ireland is blackmailing the club for a big pay off hes the only thing holding this up it would seem. On £75k a week and he wants £2 million pay off to play 60 miles up the road regular.

Another player I wanted us to keep I will now be pleased to see the back off. As for Milner with what we are rumored to be paying. Well that is something else but its done it would seem I hope for more consistent performances, greater work ethic and more flexibility than we got last season from Ireland, especially for the money we are paying.

I wanted Bellamy to stay as well. Before he started mouthing off in the press and all the bad shit he has done since Hughes left and Mancini came to the club came out.

always been a big bellamy fan, was devastated when i thought he was being shafted, but then i found more out about what hes done since mancini and im not so sure the club needs his attitude anymore

Mmmm your emloyer wants to terminate your contract and show YOU the door. I'd want my contract paying up before I left as well, especially if my contract entitled me to a bonus if my services were being dispenced with.

If he's entitled to it - just pay him.

I agree if its in the contract we have to pay it. What we are haggling over must not be in the contract. Dunne was supposedly given a pot sweetener to approve the deal, so Ireland must know that and want the same treatment.

i really want milner, for me he has the lot but so does stevie,the same with bells, these are good players we are sacrificing.

i hope its all worth it.

i agree milner has the workrate to go with no little talent, but there is immense talent inside stevie ireland that that we are letting go.
