Milner or Nasri?

I could do what Milner does for City, run around a lot. He doesn't score enough, nor does he set up enough goals compared to our other attackers. I'm not the greatest fan of Nasri but the stats don't lie; he's instrumental in our side. Face it, if Milner does leave it'd be a case of "thanks for your work", but he won't be missed that much if we bring in an adequate replacement.

hahahaha what the hell. He class and has been one of our best players. Go on then go and play for city then. Nasri or silva dont really score either

Milner is up there with most chances created this season so.................

what is up with this forum we lose one game and posters are already slagging off players. A couple of weeks ago milner was one of our best players, now he's shit ?

Milners performance today was as bad as any I have ever seen and not just because he made mistakes but because he just looked like he didn't care he hid from the game
ps his passing was woeful BTW

that was the worst performance you've ever seen ??? He wasn't great but come on thats an over reaction. I mean its not like anyone played well

Chances created is misleading. For example if most of your chances are created by lumping/fizzing it into the box, you will look good by this stat even if you aren't necessarily making that much of an impact.

Nasri might 'create less chances' but with him on the pitch we can dictate play, run teams around that are sitting back against us. Milner just not capable of that kind of thing IMO. Want him to stay but I'd pick Nasri over MIlner in almost every game we ever play, maybe the exception being a game where we would have to defend more than usual.

The likes of Milner, Fernando, Navas are substitute standard for a top team.

Both Fernando and Navas are what I'd call specialist subs. They really should not be playing anywhere near the minutes they are doing. Fernando should be coming on to shore up games. Navas for the opposite reason and for the counter attack. Sometimes 1 of them shouldn't even be needed in the matchday squad.

Milner is a decent general purpose sub/squad player.

We need to sign players who will make sure these 3 are only squad players. That's why I sigh when I hear we're after someone like Jay Rodriquez. From now on, once UEFA's sanctions are lifted, we have to be looking solely at Sanchez, Hazard, Fabregas, Di Maria, Silva, Aguero, Yaya standard players. Quality over quantity.

Have to agree. We will have academy players to fill in and bring on. The days of signing the relatively indifferent must now be gone.

Milner today I can honestly say I don't think he tried: other players have made bad mistakes etc but I have never seen such a lack of effort and if Milner doesn't give you effort then he gives fuck all else as he is a very average footballer at best.

I saw every game Edghill ever played for us and I never thought he was good enough, as I think with Milner, but I can say he always tried Milner today never even tried and that is unforgivable Looks to me like he has made up his mind to leave
