He is a jack of all trades and a bloody good one.
Why does he have a problem with that.

He could have said something along the lines of "I had a fantastic 5 years at City. Liverpool are a great club with a great history and a manager I admire. It was a no-brainer to come here when I decided I wanted a new challenge."
Milner is obviously as thick off the field as he was on it. Am I seriously reading he didn't get his chance in the BIG games? He was pretty much first name on the team sheet for BIG games for both Mancini & Pellegrini. Or are Derbies, CL must wins, Chelsea games not big games?
Agree him going is more like when sweep left us , only we didnt have delusions that at the time he was making a huge step downA couple of things are different.
We have at least 10 players who are better than Milner so no-one is that bothered. He leaves with our best wishes as we have won big trophies while he's been here.
Raheem was their star player. He's leaving a sinking ship and that hurts. It reinforces what they already know. In addition they know he is only going to get better.
So I as a football fan can see why they are pissed off and we are not. None of which excuses their appalling behaviour.

Whilst I abhor the hypocricy of Liverpool fans over this move, let's not forget that we reacted the same way when Sturridge went to Chelsea. It's all part of the pantomime of football.
