Fuck what the snides think mate. Milner is a very gifted young English player. He will prove invaluble in future seasons. That is what has impressed me the most about Mancinis dealings. Boateng, Silva, Kolarov and very likely Balotelli and Milner. All very young top notch player who will grow and learn each others game together and will become for my money the greatest City team in history.

It's not ideal to be giving Villa big money to strengthen. But they will only get players on a certain wage structure. I can't see the likes of Ozil, Torres, Schjnieder etc joining them.... More like Parker, Keane etc... Big whoop.

i remember when danny mills and tony allcock were a wow signings, but now we are assembling a talent young team, if we can turn the potential of this squad into a reality we will have great times ahead

I know what you mean, the signings we have made so far are all wow signings imo. The dark days of being excited by the likes of jeff thomas coming to city are long gone. This season and maybe more next season should see us being very serious title contenders, I for one like the rest of you carnt wait for the season to start.
