Liverpool are strengthening well if all seems to be agreed but they need a CB, Konate likely being courted by Real for a free next year, Salah will eventually stop banging in 40 odd goals and assists a season too. If we bring in the talent and reduce the age of certain positions in the squad it’s not a huge overhaul needed to be back competing.
I like the small squad idea. It creates hungry players always fighting for competition. They all get a lot of minutes. When Alvarez left everyone in the media said it was because the got no game time but that wasn’t the case.But you do evolve the team every season by bringing in world class hungry players to make us not complacent as fergie used to do every year . Our infrastructure is second to none and we could blast anyone out of the water with transfers but by the looks of it pep chose not to and we stood still and in the end if was inevitable what would happen . Hope we’ve learned our lesson but pep still wants a small squad so it looks like we haven’t .
We just need players that aren’t injury prone. This might be now because they’ve been run ragged for years.
Hasn't cambiasso gone quiet last few months?Always thought he was Liverpool bound but then the news broke we were looking. Made me think after the Wirtz news they might not have all the funds they originally had planned.
If we don’t go in for Kerkez will be interesting to see who we go for.

If the case Cambiaso and Ake at LB, Gvardiol and O’Reilly to cover if need be as well.

Time will tell. It doesn’t change the fact that they’re being incredibly decisive with some good influence given who they’ve signed. Whether he’s worse than TAA who knows but he was a highly rated fullback in the market that they scooped up quicklyFrimpong doesn’t impress me much a worse Arnold.
And they’re signing the best young attaching midfielder in the world
It’s objectively impressive how they’re operating at the moment

We’ll do what we do, which is all I care about and see where we are this time next year.Every year,every transfer window posters panic about what others do, then we see most of these panics turn out to be unfounded.Time will tell. It doesn’t change the fact that they’re being incredibly decisive with some good influence given who they’ve signed. I’m a huge fan of both — especially Dimarco. They bring intensity and grit, and would fit into this team like a glove. The only doubt is whether their age will go against them in our recruitment strategy. Rice could have been signed.
Mendes could have been signed
Hakimi right player but Kyle was still at his best.
That's only two players.
Now we need quality at right and left back, two more quality midfielder players, another wide player.
We would be looking a whole lot better if we already had Rice and Mendes.
