I cannot fathom the grief of a parent that loses a child. To me it’s like a life altering injury for the parents. The deepest of wounds with scars that will never truly heal. To them both I send you all my strength in spirit as I can.

To Millie, RIP little Blue, may an angel always be with you. God bless.

Heartbreaking story.

I just became a dad a couple of weeks ago and already dread the thought of my little guy getting sick or falling over and cutting his knee, let alone something as terrible as this.

All the sympathy in the world for the parents and other family members... Just terrible.

RIP little one, I'm so sorry for what happened to you. And well done to those organising the applause.

I will be at my first game at the Etihad in years for the Newcastle game. It'll be my son't first trip over too so it's a special trip. You may be damn sure we will pay our respects to little Milly.

Well said mate, deep down we are all one big blue family, and by god does that family need to feel it...

Heartbreaking. As a parent I can't imagine what the parents are going though.

Sepsis is not really talked about but it's an incredibly dangerous condition especially for children and older people and can kill at incredible speed. My cousin nearly died from it. He started feeling unwell and within 2 hours was put into an induced coma for 10 days. Thankfully he recovered but his liver and stomach were a mess.

If it wasn't for his next door neighbor being a nurse and spotting the warning signs he would of been dead.
