Minutes applause for Ray Wilkins before Rags game.

He should be applauded before every game if only for how he dealt on tS with that Rag asshole! RIP Butch!

Can't see there being any problems.he was Chelsea through and through even though he played for united most people don't associate him with them.

That’s what I thought, until I was reminded of Wilkins' time with the rags.

I know he was at the swamp, but I will first and foremost associate him with Chelsea.

Probably just me but the last thing on my mind before this game is game will be Ray Wilkins. RIP anyway.

If this is what they have decided to do then obviously I will applaud because that is the respectful thing to do and he was a united player and we are playing them so it is right for there to be tribute before the game. But out of interest when an ex-footballer dies, how do they come to a decision that every football club is going to do something rather than just the club/clubs he played for? Were "all clubs" told to pay tribute to Neil Young for example? I genuinely can't remember but I suspect they weren't.

I remember him playing for QPR at Maine Rd towards the end of his career and coming over to take a corner between the old Kippax and North stand. He was getting the usual sh*te (& rightly so being an ex red) but just before he took it he turned round to the crowd, smiled & blew a kiss to everyone - we we're all p*ssing ourselves - loved him for it!.
